Spike TV T-Bucket Build
In 2004 Spike TV filmed a show featuring the building of a T-Bucket from start
to finish! The '23 Ford T-Bucket was built by Total Performance and John Rives who is the owner of this
beautiful rod.
It is painted Chili Pepper Red which is the same color as their new Mini Cooper.
Power comes from a 78 Chevy 350, 10 over, flat tops, 10.5-1 comp, Crane full race solid cam, roller rockers,
Air Flow heads, fuelly 2.02 valves and triple springs with titanium guides, balanced,blueprinted
and linebored 4 bolt block, MSD HEI ignition, Holly Contender intake w/Holly Double pumper on
top. The motor Dyno'ed at 475 hp. The Tranny is a turbo 350 with a shift kit. An 8" Ford rear backs it all up! The clock on the
dash is an 8 day Waltham mechanical car clock out of a 1923 Packard. John says the "T" doesn't run worth a dam if he forgets to wind the clock and it stops!
